Disabling TWP Scheduling for TimeSimplicity Integration

TimeSimplicity schedules can only pass to TimeWorksPlus if the legacy scheduling feature is turned off. If the schedules that appear on the time cards appear wrong or do not appear at all, it may be because Scheduling is still enabled in TimeWorksPlus.

UPDATE June, 2018
With the new Scheduling Management page in TimeWorksPlus, the system will prevent you from enabling TimeSimplicity and TWP Scheduling simultaneously, so this article is no longer relevant. It will remain temporarily as reference.

This article explains the process for disabling TWP Scheduling on an account integrated with TimeSimplicity.
  1. From TimeWorksPlus, go to the Processing Rules page. Accountant level logins can find Processing Rules under the account's Settings Menu.
  2. If the TimeWorksPlus Scheduling feature is enabled for the account, it will appear in the list of Active Rules like this:

  1. Disable the Scheduling rule by clicking on the rule name and selecting Remove.
  2. Return to the Processing Rules page and, if enabled, click the Integrated Scheduling rule. Make note of any settings on this page and then remove the rule. The rule needs to be deactivated in order for this process to work.
  3. Return to the Processing Rules page and, if enabled, click the TimeSimplicityOptions rule. Make note of any settings on this page and then remove the rule. The rule needs to be deactivated in order for this process to work.
  4. On the Processing Rules page, select the Scheduling category and re-activate the Integrated Scheduling rule. Replicate the settings from step 4. Click and drag the top left corner of each switch to turn on an exception. Save the changes.
  5. From the Scheduling category select TimeSimplicityOptions and verify the settings from step 5 have been carried over. The SSO URL is: http://ts.payrollservers.us/sso/twlogon Save the rule.
The integration will now pass schedules from TimeSimplicity to TimeWorksPlus. If it does not, there may be a problem with the integration setup in TimeSimplicity. See Enabling Single Sign On Through TimeSimplicity Options Rule.
