FAQ: Can the clock store punches in the event of a power outage?

If your facility experiences a power outage, any existing punches that have not been transmitted will be stored until power is restored.

Each clock unit has a back up Lithium battery so that if the power goes out all the punches in the clock will continue to store until the clock can receive power again.

The battery is only there to store punches that have already been made and not strong enough to actually power the clock in the event of a power outage, so during a power outage, the clock will not take any new punches.

A good thing to do, once power is restored, is to press "9" to transmit the punches.
